Meet The Staff

Laura Shao is a pediatric provider at Sunrise who is committed to compassionate, relationship-centered care for children and families. She combines evidence-based pediatric medicine with a holistic approach focused on prevention, wellness, and supporting the whole child. Laura is passionate about helping families feel genuinely known, respected, and cared for throughout every stage of childhood.

She also has a special interest in natural wellness and empowering parents through education and collaborative care. As both a provider and business owner, Laura is dedicated to building a practice grounded in integrity, faith, compassion, and excellence in care.

Outside of medicine, Laura enjoys spending time with her family, cheering on Oklahoma State Cowboys athletics, being involved in her community, and loving on her puppies.

Dr. Betty Harmon is a board-certified pediatrician with over 35 years of experience caring for children from birth through adolescence. She is known for her compassionate approach and for building lasting relationships with the families she serves.

A graduate of the University of Oklahoma College of Medicine, Dr. Harmon focuses on preventive care, childhood wellness, and the early detection and management of both acute and chronic conditions. A fellow of the American Academy of Pediatrics, she remains committed to lifelong learning and a family-centered approach that supports each child’s development.

Outside of medicine, Dr. Harmon enjoys gardening, traveling, playing the piano, and spending time with her family.

Dr. Beard is a dedicated pediatric physician who has proudly cared for children and families for over 30 years. She is known for her compassionate, comprehensive approach and for building lasting relationships with generations of families in her community.

Known for her approachable personality and thoughtful care, Dr. Beard partners closely with parents to support each child’s health, growth, and development. She is passionate about creating a welcoming environment where children feel comfortable and families feel heard, supported, and cared for.

Outside of medicine, Dr. Beard enjoys spending time with her family, serving in her community, and giving back in meaningful ways.

Erica has been the nurse for Dr. Reba Beard since 2021, following her from Moore Pediatrics. She is dedicated to making every visit feel comfortable and reassuring for both kids and parents. She loves connecting with families and is sure to bring a smile, helping littles feel at ease.

Abbie is a dedicated nurse who works closely with Dr. Harmon to provide thoughtful, compassionate care. She's passionate about supporting families and helping each visit feel comfortable and reassuring.

Taighen supports both patient care and front desk operations, helping make each visit as seamless and comfortable as possible. She enjoys working closely with families and being part of their care journey. 

Kyra is one of the friendly faces you'll see both in the clinic and at the front desk, helping visits run smoothly from start to finish. She enjoys connecting with families and creating a welcoming experience.

Kellsie is the friendly face who helps welcome you into our office and keeps things running smoothly at the front desk. She has worked alongside our providers since 2018 and loves watching the children and families grow over the years.

Hadley supports Sunrise families both at the front desk and in patient care as a medical assistant. As a part-time team member, she helps create a smooth, comforting experience for families from check-in to care.

Chelci helps welcome families to Sunrise with a friendly face at the front desk. As a part-time team member, she helps keep the office running smoothly while making each visit feel warm and welcoming.

Kaici brings years of pediatric nursing experience, including time with a large pediatric group in Dallas. With a warm, caring approach and a passion for children's health, she helps families feel right at home at Sunrise.
